Southside University transforms our Sunday evening worship hour into an exciting opportunity for you and your family members to sign up for a variety of Bible study courses. CLASSES FOR ADULTS:
Experiencing God Bible Study Book includes revised printed content for 12 sessions, personal study between group sessions, and applicable Scripture. Also, each Book contains unique codes that enable you to access teaching videos for each session.

CLASS FOR WOMEN
In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. CLASS FOR MEN
Throughout history, many cultures have experienced various spiritual awakenings. These eras are often short-lived, but the people who experienced them are transformed forever. That’s what happened to Greg Laurie during the Jesus Movement in the late 1960s and early ‘70s. He entered these years as a drug-using hippie and exited as a new believer eager to see others come to know Christ, a quest he continues to this day.

CLASS FOR TEENS
Everyone wants to be happy. We spend our money, time, and energy chasing our version of the good life. And on the way, we run ourselves into physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. But what if the happiness we’re all striving for isn’t the happiness we were created for?
Pastor and author Dr. Derwin L. Gray believes there is a better road to happiness, and it is found in the Beatitudes of Jesus. In this section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus revealed the shocking, countercultural path to true flourishing. It comes not through wealth, fame, or laughter but through poverty, obscurity, and mourning.
True happiness comes from a heart directed toward the kingdom of God and satisfied in Jesus the King. This 8-session small-group teen Bible study demonstrates how Jesus taught us to search for, find, and hold on to the good life.
